Tag soup.
Not exactly what most hunters dream about—but if we’re being honest, most of us have eaten it at some point.
It’s part of the process.
Because like anything in life, the more you do it, the better you get.
At Tag Tactics, we believe in a simple idea: Hunt More. Hunt Better.
The best hunters aren’t the ones who sit on points for years waiting for the perfect tag— they’re the ones who get out there. Boots on the ground. Glass on the hillsides. Learning every season.
Our goal is to help Colorado hunters find opportunities they didn’t even know existed— so you can spend less time waiting on a once-in-a-lifetime hunt, and more time actually hunting.
Because the best tag you can apply for… is the one you’ll actually draw.
And those “easy-to-get, hard-to-hunt” tags? That’s where real experience is built.
My name is Andrew.
I’m a lifelong Colorado resident, big game hunter, wildlife photographer—and a certified elk addict.
When I first got into big game hunting as a teenager, I was completely overwhelmed.
The application process is complicated—almost ridiculously so. Every hunter I know hates dealing with it. Between regulations, draw odds, and trying to piece together good hunts, it’s easy to feel lost.
So I did what a lot of hunters do…
Eventually, my dad, Jonathan, and I realized something:
There had to be a better way.
So we combined our passion for hunting with data analysis—and built Tag Tactics to simplify the entire process.
To turn confusion into clarity. And to help hunters consistently find tags they can actually draw—and hunt.
This year, I’ll be applying for four different big game tags—and I’ll be hunting all of them.
Will I fill every tag? Probably not.
But I’ll come out of the season a better hunter than I went in.
And that’s the whole point.
Tag Tactics is built to help you do the same.
