How TagWise works

Turn draw odds chaos into a clear tag plan.

We blend public draw data, harvest stats, and unit pressure trends with your goals—so every application dollar works harder.

Step 1

Tell us how you hunt.

Weapon, species, states, trophy vs. opportunity, travel limits, and how often you want to be in the field.

Step 2

We run the numbers.

TagWise models draw odds, point creep, harvest and pressure data across units to prioritize tags that truly match your profile.

Step 3

Get your tag list & schedule.

Receive a prioritized list of units, deadlines, backup options, and a 3–5 year plan so you always know where to apply next.

Hunter stories

“I went from random apps to 3 quality tags in one season.”

“I used to toss apps into random units and hope. TagWise lined up my Colorado elk, Wyoming antelope, and a backup deer hunt around my work schedule. I finally feel like there’s a plan, not just luck.”

Questions

FAQ about TagWise Hunts.

Still wondering how it works? Here are the answers most hunters look for before getting started.

Is TagWise a draw application or license service?

No. TagWise does not submit applications or purchase licenses for you. We give you a clear, prioritized list of what to apply for in each state and when. You use that plan to submit through each state’s official portal or your preferred licensing service.

How current is your data?

We update our models each application season with the latest published draw reports, harvest data, regulation changes, and known access issues. If a major mid-season change happens, we’ll push an update and notify affected hunters on eligible plans.

What if regulations change after I buy?

If regulations or quotas change in a way that meaningfully affects your recommended plan before the application deadline, we’ll adjust your recommendations at no additional cost for the current season.

I’m new to western hunting. Is this overkill?

Not at all. For newer hunters, we lean heavily into higher-opportunity, lower-complexity hunts with realistic expectations. We’ll flag skills and gear to work on so your first western tags are fun and confidence-building, not overwhelming.

How long does it take to get my report?

Most hunters receive their full TagWise report within 3–5 business days after completing the intake questions. Premium plans with strategy calls may take slightly longer depending on scheduling.

Ready to make this season count?

Spend a few minutes answering our intake questions and we’ll turn your points, preferences, and calendar into a TagWise plan you can actually act on.
